Center Co-Sponsors Workshop on Health Care Ethics and Law

The Center co-sponsored a workshop on November 9 with the Healthcare Ethics Consortium of Georgia on health care ethics and law. This day-long workshop was presented by lawyers and ethicists who discussed the role of law in ethical decision-making and a variety of legal issues such as informed consent, surrogate decision-making, refusal of treatment, advance directives, and end-of-life care.
